I opened an issue and got help.
If you edit your gitlab.rb file and add these two lines
gitlab_rails['incoming_email_delivery_method'] = "sidekiq"
gitlab_rails['service_desk_email_delivery_method'] = "sidekiq"
It will work more than likely.
