I´m using a self-hosted Docker GitLab instance on my vServer (8 vCPUs, 32 GB RAM) and I get the error message from the screenshot below in random intervals.
The error is covered by an infinitive loading and after a refresh of the page, the issue is gone.
Suggest correlating the error timestamp to the logs, and look for 500 error codes in the production log.
Additionally, the browser dev console might shed some light, according to this comment: "An error occurred while loading the blob controls." - #2 by cgola
