I recently upgraded my self-hosted gitlab-ee from 15.7.5 to 15.8.1, and I got an issue with the Arabic font in the gitlab web UI.
Is there any way to edit the font used? or is there any plan to fix this issue?
This is very likely triggered by the new typefaces that were made the default in 15.8.0.
I’m not familiar with Arabic and cannot tell what your issue is from the screenshot. Maybe you want to provide an explanation.
Personally, I use a mixed English/Japanese set up and haven’t noticed any obvious issues (so far). Of course, Japanese is not rigth-to-left so that might explain why.
