Can Gitlab be used to store and manage versioning for Word, Adobe Framemaker (.fm), Adobe Robohelp (.html) file types?

Hello,

We are planning to use GitLab for Product Documentation.

We will be using Adobe Framemaker (.fm), Robohelp (.html) and Word.

Does GitLab support and can be used to store Framemaker (.fm), Robohelp and Word (.doc/docx) files ?

Please confirm the support at the earliest.

Thanks,
Tariq

It’s possible to use lfs to store product documentation files

However, I would recommend against it because storing documentation files is not really a purpose of using git.
Recommend using something like Alfresco instead.
