I just signed up for a gitlab account. It accepted, sent validation email, and I used the validation link. I see a 500 error every time I attempt to sign in.
- visit https://gitlab.com/
- Provide credentials
- It waits a bit
- " 500 - Whoops, something went wrong on our end." error page. Every single time.
“Try refreshing the page, or going back and attempting the action again. Please contact your GitLab administrator if this problem persists.”
Tried that since last night. I have no Gitlab administrator, this is a standalone account.
I’ve created an account on Github, which works fine.
Occurs every time in Firefox and Chrome on two different computers.
I can sign into the Gitlab forum via Gitlab auth.
Anyone know an answer?
Same error. I can’t login to my account or register a new one
I’m having the exact same issue as well
This is happening with a few of my coworkers. Both of them made their accounts today and can’t login, they just get 500 errors. I also tried logging in with one of their accounts and i get a 500 error as well. I made my account last friday and i can login with no problems.
It seems like this is affecting new accounts and possibly also accounts that have changed user settings lately.
Same behavior. Account was registered yesterday, get 500 today after Auth.
Anyone from Gitlab care to comment?
I’m having the same problem, just signed up today.
Works today. On the days I had trouble, others could log in just fine from same computer.
I am having the same problem.
