I have a forked project. And now I noticed, that when I open an issue in that forked project, the “create merge request” button is missing on the issue page. Is this a bug or has it been done on purpose, as the merge target could be either the forked project or the original project ? I noticed, if I remove the fork relation, so that the project becomes independent, then the button is back on the issue page. So, my assumption is that it was done on purpose.
However, I would need to have that button on the issue page, so we can follow the same workflow on every project. Is it possible to configure it in a way that the default target is always the project the issue is created in ?
