Customer access to issue boards

Hi all!

Great new feature those issue boards! I was wondering how others were / will be using this in combination with creating tickets and informing your customers?

How do you gather tickets… a customer calls and you make a ticket for them? What if a customer has a list of issues stacked in a MS Word file for example. Do you copy/paste them in a board like this, or is there a way for the customer to create issues in GitLab directly? Or maybe use the API to let customers create issues in you own environment?

Same thing the other way around. How to (automatically) inform customers about the state of there tickets / project?
