I have Apache running as the webserver facing the internet and use it as a reverse proxy to provide access to GitLab using a http connection to nginx.
I have set extern url to “https://gitlab.$MYDOMAIN” and set nginx[‘listen_https’] to false. Most operations work without problems, now I found out that deleting a repository does not work, the same issue has been described at https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/42292. Renaming and archiving a project works without problems. When I reconfigure gitlab.rb to offer https and use a VPN to connect to nginx I can delete project.
Is there some option to enable deleting projects behind a reverse proxy? Or could I somehow delete the repository manually (i.e. on the command line) without leaving any inconsistent database contents around.
