Flood by the notifications

I’m a gitlab user on the website gitlab.gnome.org and i am flood by the notifications on my email. Each new issue is noticed to me. But i set the global level of the notifications to disabled. Each project i had set manually i set it to disabled. What to do please.

Hi,

Gnome is using a self-managed instance, different to GitLab.com SaaS. Maybe a specific setting does not work. When you say “global”, do you mean your user settings? Please share a screenshot.

If you want to keep the mail notifications, but filter them away in gmail, here’s a trick we use to filter: Tools and tips | GitLab

Kind regards,
Michael

Hello, thank you for reply.
I’m french so i use the half-translated interface.

Yes it was my user settings.
If there is nothing that can help me from the settings maybe i should indeed try to make a rule on my gmail account.

Hi,

I would also recommend raising the problem to the GNOME admins maintaining gitlab.gnome.org - I think their sysadmin team is the best way to get in touch directly.

Maybe a re-toggle (on - off) can help reset and debug the settings, next to the gmail filters keeping your inbox clean.

Kind regards,
Michael
