Why the ******** do I need an especially long password for a forum??? You actually inist on one that is longer than the one I need for my code account. Really? Frankly I honestly dont give a hoot if someone steals my login (which is more likely if you force me to have something other than one I remember and I need to write it down on a post it and put it on my screen - a little factord that is well understood) and makes a comment - rude or otherwise - in my name (hopefully they would write a witty one but hey ho)
Its just not necessary to be prescriptive about passwords, we all have our preferences and we all judge the risk associated with the service we are logged into, and someone pasting in my name is frankly not a big risk even if they post terrorism links
