Forum problem: Sorry you cannot post a link to that host

Today I tried to post my first technical question on this bulletin board. But all I get when I click the concluding “Add topic” is an odd error message stating

Sorry you cannot post a link to that host.

The only link I could see in my entire post was a link to my own repository on Gitlab. And even when I edited that one so it no longer looks like an HTTP link, I still get the message. What exactly is prohibited here? Or is it just a bug?

I have the same problem. I’m just pasting logs in code blocks.

New users need to pass a certain threshold on the forum before links can be posted. Otherwise we all wake up in the morning to see 20 posts from spammers with links to all their crap.

Most if not all forums operate this way, with limits for new users that are not allowed to post links in their first few posts.
