Gitlab mention ID or Username

Hello!
In my company we use an ID for LDAP logging. So, for example, in our Gitlab instance, users are @12234536 or @UE0034422.

Is it possible, when the issue is displayed, to show not only the ID of the mentioned user, but also his user name?

Example
Current: Yes, @12234536 this is true
Expected: Yes, @12234536[Jhon Doe] this is true
or
Expected: Yes, @12234536[Jhon.Doe@example.it] this is true
