Gitlab Repository compare: branch search not working

I’ve noticed a problem after updating (self hosted) Gitlab to the Community Edition v13.10.0

When I try to create merge request via navigating to Repository->Compare, and I try to select target branch, not all branches are listed there (OK as far, I have a lot of branches). But when I type the name of the branch, my branch doesn’t appear on the list. I’ve opened the ‘Network’ tab in the development tools (Chrome) and I see no request sent to the server.

Is this something that got broken in the newest version? Or the combo box works up to the certain number of branches, and after that you need to type the URL manually?

Hi.
GitLab 13.11.4. The same issue. We have a lot of branches. On the branch comparison page, not all branches are displayed in the drop-down list… For example: we want to compare the ‘kestrel’ and ‘master’ branches, so:

there is no kestrel branch, but if we specify a branch in the URL, we will see what we were looking for:

Is it a bug or feature?

Thank you.

It does not reproduce on 13.12.0. Looks like OK.
