I hope this is the right place for this, but I’m having an issue upgrading and I’m not sure if what it’s doing is correct or if something is messed up somewhere. I’m trying to upgrade and having some issues with the migration step.
I started at 10.8.3ee and went to 10.8.7ee with no issues. All the migrations where showing “up” and it was working fine. Then I went from 10.8.7 to 11.7.5 and the upgrade seemed to go fine, no obvious issues. But then the issue start, and there are a couple of things.
The first is when I do a
gitlab-rake db:migrate:status, I see several migrations listed like:
up 20170316163800 ********** NO FILE **********
And then most of the migrations are ‘up’ and the ones toward the bottom are ‘down’ (which I think is normal). The problem now is when I do ‘gitlab-rake db:migrate’ it doesn’t actually migrate anything, it just starts reverting and then eventually fails when it gets to a migration it doesn’t like.
So two questions:
- Do I need to do anything or worry about the ‘NO FILE’ entries?
- Is the fact that it’s reverting everything and not migrating a problem? Is there some setting I maybe missed or something I’m doing wrong?
Any help would be great, thank you.
