How to solve merge conflict using API

Hi there,

I’m currently able to create Merge Requests and Approve them through the API when there are no merge conflicts, but I can’t find a way to solve a merge conflict through the API.

I understand how the process should work, and i’m able to do it via the web gui (creating the merge commit in the source branch) and via the cli, but i’m looking for a way of doing it in the API and can’t find the method to do so.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks
