We’d like to stop, or decrease the polling interval, it’s way too frequent, thanks!
The setting is available under the Admin Area -> Settings -> Preferences section.
Visibility and access to the Admin Area requires use of the administrator account.

Our gitlab owner user can’t see that setting, we’re using gitlab.com CE edition

Yes, I should have clarified that all Admin Area application settings are only available over self-managed instances. There isn’t a way to configure the rate of UI state polling over the SaaS offering.
