Hey Folks,
I’ve created an custom hooks for several repos on my gitlab server, so this hooks involves some critical config files which holds credentials for third party api’s Is there any ideal place to keep these config files / hooks with reference to given below points.

hooks scripts configs should be in secure location and nobody should be able to tamper with them or mise-use credentials stored in there.
-
hooks /scripts should work seemlessly accros backup dump and restore.
