Init script exists? ... skipped (omnibus-gitlab has no init script)

Hello
When doing this command “sudo gitlab-rake gitlab: check”
do I get this message "
Init script exists? … skipped (omnibus-gitlab has no init script)
Init script up-to-date? … skipped (omnibus-gitlab has no init script)
“is this an error? How can I fix the status?”

No, it’s not an error. I get it on mine as well. Most distros now use systemctl instead of sysv-init, so there will not be any init scripts now.

There is obviously a check in the rake command, but it skips it, so there is nothing wrong with your system, and nothing to worry about.
