Over the years, I’ve installed GitLab CE & EE on several machines successfully. The process is usually quite painless. However, this past week I tried installing on a host (Digital Ocean & AWS) and have had ZERO success. These attempts have been on the VPS directly as well as via a Docker container. The Docker instances usually cause segmentation faults.
Are there current issues that prevent installing the latest builds on the latest version of Docker? Are there known problems installing onto a VPS? Searches for similar failures show results from 2019 but nothing super recent.
