Now I’ve read somewhere that this probably means I got my base or bind_dn wrong but no matter how I fiddle with it I just can’t seem to get it to work.
can anyone clarify for me?
say I have a user named “John” in OU
“OU=Users,OU=IT,DC=HQ,DC=Example”
How would the configuration go?
Also, I tested the bind_dn with ldapsearch and I authenticated without an issue
