Let's Encrypt via Nginx Proxy Manager

Hi Community,

I have installed GitLab CE on my home server. At that time I installed the whole thing via the pure IP. I now have a domain and Nginx Proxy Manager. I have created the subdomain and equipped it with a Let’s Encrypt certificate. I created the new domain under external URL and reconfigured gitlab.

Unfortunately, I encountered the following error:

There was an error running gitlab-ctl reconfigure:

letsencrypt_certificate[gitlab.xxx.ch] (letsencrypt::http_authorization line 6) had an error: RuntimeError: acme_certificate[staging] (letsencrypt::http_authorization line 43) had an error: RuntimeError: ruby_block[create certificate for gitlab.xxx.ch] (letsencrypt::http_authorization line 110) had an error: RuntimeError: [gitlab.xxx.ch] Validation failed, unable to request certificate, Errors: [{url: https://acme-staging-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/chall-v3/xxxx/xxxx, status: invalid, error: {"type"=>"urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized", "detail"=>"xxxx: Invalid response from https://gitlab.xxx.ch/.well-known/acme-challenge/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: 404", "status"=>403}} ]

Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to adjust?

Many thanks and best regards,
Mikosch
