Login problem to Gitlab.com with MS Edge

Hi Gitlab Community,

I am using MS Edge on Ubuntu 22.04 and since some time, I cannot login to Gitlab.com anymore.

I am stuck at the Checking if the site connection is secure.

This is the console output

Error with Permissions-Policy header: Origin trial controlled feature not enabled: 'browsing-topics'.
Error with Permissions-Policy header: Origin trial controlled feature not enabled: 'interest-cohort'.

I have normal security and privacy settings and I have just three plugins installed. Somehow, it seems that after clearing the cache, it is working but after restarting MS Edge, it broken again. With Firefox, this problems are not present and this is my workaround so far.

I really don’t know how to solve this issue because turning the plugins on/off makes no difference at all and I don’t want to sacrifize my privacy settings.

Thanks and best regards
Carsten

  • Clear Cache and Cookies (Again)
  • Disable Extensions Temporarily
  • Update Edge

Does browsing as a guest or using a new InPrivate window make a difference? Not that either is a solution but something in your profile might be contributing.
