We’ve installed Omnibus Gitlab (latest version) on a Ubuntu 16.04 VPS SSD. Despite the fast storage we’re still in a shared environment, so IOwait is often high and GL takes up to 30s to load some pages.
Since the server has much of ram, and GL uses less that 3G out of the 12G available, I was wondering if it’s possible to tweak some settings to make it use more memory than now, and consequently speed up some tasks.
