I see that on the contributor’s page, even if you’re not logged in and are viewing a public project that it will list the contributors and their emails. How can you stop your email being publicly available? GitHub seems to just show the user on their contributor page and not peoples emails?
I have seen that you can set do not show on profile and mask the commit email in the settings to use a private commit email, though it doesn’t seem to fix the visibility issue of your previous email being available for scraping in certain pages? Along with presumably creating a second contributor that is actually the same the person?
