We have a group of projects that utilize Renovate to update dependencies. Our intent is to use the automerge feature of Renovate (GitHub - renovatebot/renovate: Universal dependency update tool that fits into your workflows.), which requires the Renovate bot user to be able to approve/merge its own MRs, but we don’t want to open that up to non-Renovate users. We don’t feel this is currently possible in GitLab, but we may be missing a settings-path for this. For example, can there be an “OR” MR rule where if a particular user approves, all the other MR rules are skipped/ignored?
