Hello Team,

We are planning to upgrade gitlab 8.14.6. As part of this, we setup test environment of same version and tried to restore backup. But it is throwing error.

Gitlab: Installed Omnibus package
Version : gitlab-ce 8.14.6

sudo gitlab-rake gitlab:backup:restore --trace
.
.

ERROR: relation “public.issue_metrics” does not exist
ERROR: relation “public.merge_requests_closing_issues” does not exist

But restoration completed.
Will it cause any issue after completing this restoration? If yes, how can i fix this issue.

After restoration of data, we tried to run below command to check for any issues:
sudo gitlab-rake gitlab:check SANITIZE=true --trace

Running /opt/gitlab/embedded/service/gitlab-shell/bin/check
Check GitLab API access: FAILED: Failed to connect to internal API
gitlab-shell self-check failed
Try fixing it:
Make sure GitLab is running;
Check the gitlab-shell configuration file:
sudo -u git -H editor /opt/gitlab/embedded/service/gitlab-shell/config.yml
Please fix the error above and rerun the checks.

How to fix this issue?

Thanks,
Prashanthi.
