I am trying to install on ubuntu VM, but have no luck getting it to be accessed from other computers in the local network.
Any good tutorial out there how to do this? I can access the web app on browser at VM, but not from other machines.

What Virtualization software are you using? Is it on your local development machine or on a server on your network?
