The prefill variables are no longer appearing when attempting to run a manual pipeline

Our team noticed that prefill variables (15.9.0) were no longer appearing when attempting to
run a manual pipeline.

When I look at the Gitlab change log, I don’t see any mention of prefill variables.
When I look at a previous documentation version (15.6.0), the wording is different, but syntax remains the same.

Is this a known issue with 15.9.0?

One thing we notice is that a brand new project doesn’t have this issue.
It was only previously existing projects. The broswer UI request still sends out the same graph QL, but the response doesn’t return the predefined items.

Could it be a caching issue?
