We have created pipeline for registering gitlab runner using docker executor. Runner is registering successfully with tls certificates and also with out certificates. In this scenario,what is the use of tls certificates when the runner is registering successfully. Pipeline is also getting completed successfully.
Registering the runner manually is also taking with out certificates.
Please clarify on the tls certificates topic. Is there any risk if we register the runner without certificates ?
