I have a GitLab.com account, username amire80, with no repositories. I also have a GitHub account with the same name and multiple repositories.
I was trying to import one repo from GitHub to gitlab.com: https://github.com/amire80/znavot
When I tried to do this, I see that GitLab identifies many of my other repositories and suggests importing them, but this one, called “znavot” is not in the list.
I was able to see other repositories, for example:
- amire80/aharoni-cookieclicker (my own)
- amire80/cxscripts (my own)
- amire80/language-data (forked)
I’d expect https://github.com/amire80/znavot to also be in the list, but it wasn’t.
I noticed that the list is alphabetical, so I tried to delete several unnecessary repos from GitHub, and then I saw “znavot” and was able to import it.
It shouldn’t be like this. Every repository should be available for importing, even if its name begins with z
Thanks!
