Hi all -
I just got gitlab set up. I am using gentoo but everything appears to check out, except that if I open my browser and go to localhost:8080, the page looks horrible, but there are boxes to put information in, etc. If I just go to localhost, no page comes up (Gitlab should be running the only web server)
Did I miss a step?
So - when I installed it using my package manager, I assumed that there was no more setup. did not realize I also had to configure nginx, etc.
I actually gave up. Tried from package manager, tried source install instructions - just a lot of errors. For example, following the source install instructions, you need to have gitaly installed and running before you can run the database configuration, etc. When I had issues with gitaly, I gave up.
