Unable to login or recover gitlab.com account

I tried to login today, and I think I locked my account. It’s been a long time since I’ve logged in, maybe something has changed for very old accounts?

Later today I tried to reset my password, but no email was received.
Tried sending another confirmation email, but no email never received.

I sent an email to support@gitlab.com, received the auto response saying submit a ticket.
Tried submitting a ticket, received a response that said it was for paying customers only.

This is really frustrating, I don’t want to create a new account.

Is there no way to get help from Gitlab at all because it “free tier”? Something is clearly screwed up with my account.

I don’t know where did you open up a ticket, but I believe you should do it here. (Gitlab.com user account and login issues). You might need to wait a bit, but eventually Support team will get back to you.
