I’ve just have a look at new users created through ldap at first connexion, and i’ve noticed that some of them, (most of the time the new ones) have a “1” at the end of their username…

Is anybody knows why?

I’m not sure! I can check if you’d like, but it’s likely that there are some similarities to another name and they needed to add the 1 in order to have a unique name. I also think that some usernames can be automatically generated upon sign up.

Let me know if you’d like me to see if I can find out why there’s a 1 at the end, but I think it’s likely something the user is choosing/being forced to choose in order to have a unique username and thus namespace and URL.
