Using .software domain with Pages

I have a software domain for my website, mysite.software. I am going to use it with GitLab Pages.

Do I need to do anything special aside from the normal setup of Pages to make a static websites work with this domain? I have gotten Pages to work with a .com and .org. I’ve already added the A and TXT records.

I ask because I’ve been waiting a day for verification of domain ownership and so far it has failed for the past 7 hours.

Has your DNS change completely propagated? Sometimes it may take up to 48 hours to complete:

Does the following show up the right values, matching what’s in your settings area?

$ dig +short txt mysite.software
$ dig +short txt _gitlab-pages-verification-code.mysite.software

AFAIK, the .software TLD is not restricted.

Ok, fixed. Problem with the A record. Gitlab says one thing, but the registrar said another.
