Wont accept correct login. Got to the confirm verification stage. Got a code, inserted it but spewed out “unable to login…”. Did a resend code and tried again but this time the ‘verify code’ is disabled. See attachment.

For this, I’d recommend you creating an account and raising a ticket at GitLab Support. There should be a section for User account and login issues.
