AutoSSL - passing /.well-known/ folder through?

:hugs: _Please help fill in this template with all the details to help others help you more efficiently.

Problem to solve

Describe your question in as much detail as possible:

AutoSSL failure, not sure how to ask gitlab to pass certain folder requests through to the server disk. Want to pass requests to the folder /.well-known/ through. Ran into this issue every 12 months but can’t remember how I fixed it last time. I think I essentially disabled or uninstalled gitlab to run autossl then re-enabled after.

Perhaps is related to no http requests allowed or autoredirect to https, but how to write an automated exemption for this one request

  • What are you seeing, and how does that differ from what you expect to see?

Expected gitlab to pass request through and retrieve the file from the /.well-known. folder

  • Consider including screenshots, error messages, and/or other helpful visuals
