I am using the trial gitlab (I do not have a local instance). I was hoping to be able to export a group for which I am owner, however I either do not have the appropriate privileges or else it cannot be done as a trial user? Again, I am owner of the group I am trying to export.
Any insights greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Not sure if it’s the same for Gitlab.com but go to the group. So the top left hand corner menu, Groups → Your Groups. Click the group. Then click Settings → General → Advanced (expand it) then there should be the button to export group. I’ve included a screenshot just in case. This works for me on my own instance, but unsure if it’s the same on the Gitlab SaaS version or not. But check anyway.
