Can't enable the Dependency Proxy feature

Problem to solve

I’m using gitlab 16.8, with Helm Chart 7.8.1, self hosted.

There seems to be no way to enable the dependency proxy feature for some project, if I try to set it in the UI it is instantly un-set, with an error message that there was an error saving the settings. There is no information as to what that error actually is.

    • A feature I cannot enable, I expect to be able to enable it with default chart settings or to receive an informative error message explaining why it can’t be enabled.
