Cloning a private repository

I’ve been trying to connect my computer to my private repository following the steps of: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ssh/

This fails every time with the message: Host key verification failed

I’ve tried this: https://help.appveyor.com/discussions/problems/26696-cannot-clone-from-gitlab-host-key-verification-failed

But it still fails releasing this error:

thanks for your time.
Any suggestions?

Hey Fernanda,

That usually means you don’t have an SSH key associated with your GitLab account.

This is a good place to learn how to fix that.

Sorry for not giving an update on the post. The solution to this problem was that when in the terminal if installations ask us to type Yes/no, usually pressing enter does the job. But, if the yes is not written in capital letters, we gotta type it to successfully consent.
