I would like to be able to set a project I have made to be a template for future projects, I suppose this must be possible because it says on https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/gitlab-basics/create-project.html#project-templates
There are two types of project templates:
- Built-in templates, sourced from the following groups:
- Custom project templates, for custom templates configured by GitLab administrators and users.
ok, so assuming I am in a group with premium access and I am on the admin page for my group and I have a project somewhere called projectX - what things do I click to get to a page where I can create a template or turn projectX into a template. I’m asking here because the documentation seems to be relying on my knowing what is meant by the instance tab and so forth without providing an helpful pictures or anything.
