Discrepancy in gitlab backup time stamp

The backup of gitlab was scheduled to be taken at 1 am daily using cron job but it was observed that the name of the back file had t-1 date always .what may be the reason?

Using: https://www.epochconverter.com/ and from my backup example last night:

1701298905_2023_11_29_16.6.0_gitlab_backup.tar

this backup time is in UTC, in localtime, that works out as 00:00 for me. So, most likely you didn’t take into consideration that it’s UTC, and you need to +1 for your timezone if it is 1 hour behind.

The Time zone is set correctly in the VM.The output of datetimectl is shown below. but the name of the backup tar file taken today had 30-11-2023 in it instead of 29-11-2023.

Local time: Thu 2023-11-30 17:00:51 IST
