Problem
I have been hosting a hugo blog on gitlab for several years. I use a custom domain, which I purchased through Hover and have used continuously since 2019.
Domain verification has never worked very well -
I regularly get “verification failed” followed by “verification succeeded” for my Gitlab pages custom domain, separated by 15 minutes.
Today I received a “verification failed” email followed by a message stating that my domain has been disabled.
Manually retrying verification does not work.
The required verification key has been attached to a TXT record in my DNS configuration for years.
Please advise.
