Hello.
Following Download and install GitLab | GitLab
shows a page where the following is shown as install procedure:
curl https://packages.gitlab.com/install/repositories/gitlab/gitlab-ee/script.deb.sh | sudo bash
sudo EXTERNAL_URL=“https://gitlab.example.com” apt-get install gitlab-ee
This installs the Enterprise Edition, not the Community Edition.
