How can I import a repository on the same machine as Gitlab?

Problem to solve

I have a git repository using LFS. Its total size is 700G.

I am trying to push it into Gitlab but I think it’s almost impossible through the network.

I think copy the repository to the machine that is running Gitlab and import it locally would be faster than the way using network.

Is there a way to achieves this?
