Can anyone guide me, I am new to this field and want to start blogging. So, will it be better to create website on WordPress or designed by custom programming?

I believe almost noone builds (static) websites by hand anymore - it’s way too much effort for something relatively simple. There are plenty CMS systems out there to build a basic web, blog or web-shop. Some of those include:
- WordPress
- Joomla
- Typo3
- Jimdoo
- Drupal
…
I believe you can Google 
Some of them are free, for some you need to pay a little, and most of them come with tons of templates and customization options.
Btw for the future - this community forum should be purely around GitLab, not other IT topics

This is generally what happens when someone posts about wordpress.com here or similar posts to the one above. I could be wrong, but we’ll see soon enough
The question asked could generally be solved by googling anyway (as already mentioned). Also the fact it has nothing to do with Gitlab.
