How many repositories are available on free plan? [Resolved]

I searched for this information but did not find it (maybe I searched wrong?)

I would like to know how many repositories are allowed on the free plan.

I would also like to know if there is a limit of private repository.

If there is a difference in limitation between private and public repositories, what are these differences?

Private repositories are unlimited for free accounts, at least as of now. It will be interesting to see how GitLab filing for an IPO on Friday will affect their future free offerings. If they follow recent trends, we may see even more free features as they work on expanding their user base.
