How to access admin area?

hey folks,
Im new to GitLab so forgive the really dumb question.

I signed up and created a new group & project. I wanted to upload some files but they are larger than 10mbs. To change the upload limits, I have to change the prefs in the admin area. I do not seem to have any sort of access to an Admin area.
Ive read that the Admin account is different. How do I get Admin access to the account I created?

Only admins can change who are admins, so you need to talk to an admin of the instance you’re using.
