In Issue filter, how to clear “Recently used”

When searching / filtering issues, under the properties ‘Assignee’ or ‘Author’, there is a “Recently used” section that is incredibly stale. I have not filtered on this person in years. Further, he is no longer on our team and he was not a considerate teammate anyway so I am really sick of seeing his face every day. There must be some way to clear this setting/ cache/ whatever.
