Hey everyone!
As the title implies, my GitLab instance is using absurd amounts of memory. I just discovered GitLab and installed it onto my Dedicated Server (fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).
Server specs are:
- CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230v6
- RAM: 32 GB ECC DDR4
- Storage: 2 x 4 TB HDD
My problem is that GitLab with all of its workers is currently occupying 24GB of RAM. It’s beyond ridiculous and don’t know if that’s by design or an actual bug.
I really like the idea of having a self hosted Git system, but if that’s the cost for it I’ll gladly pass.
The GitLab instance currently has only 1 user and 1 repository with only 1 README file in it.
Is there anything I can do or is that by design?
Thanks in advance,
