The counters are on their website and most likely are inaccurate anyway. For example, I could download a script and it would then be added to the daily and total count. Whether I am still using it later or not, they will have no idea unless the particular script I am using is reporting data back to greasyfork. In which case that script should also give the opportunity to opt-out of reporting back if that is the case, but I expect they do not do that. Which means that the counters on the website only show how many people have downloaded, and not how many people are using it. All that data can be used for is to see how many people have been interested in it and nothing more.
And they would most likely be parsing web server logs to see when a download has been made, and used that information to add to the couter. So unless you are going to create a website for downloading your files, and then code to parse your log files, you won’t be able to know how many people have downloaded it.
